Book 16: Big, Dumb Objects — Part IV

Transcript

NARRATOR: Boat Four...

KATHRYN: Captain Andreyasn, we're headed your way. I think it's time to regroup.

KEVYN: Good call, Lieutenant. Captain Murtaugh is in surgery, and I really need to confer with the Commodore.

KATHRYN: The Commodore is asleep. He's... taking a "grief break."

Until the Doctor clears him, I'm the officer in charge over here.

KEVYN: Oh.

Wow.

KATHRYN: I know, right? The Commodore is supposed to be immune to that stuff.

KEVYN: The "Oh, wow" was because that kind of puts me in charge of the entire company.

KATHRYN: Oh.

Wow.

KATHRYN: Why only "kind of?"

KEVYN: Because I kind of want to pack up and go home.

KATHRYN: If the Commodore wakes up at home he might not yell at us.
