Bad Batch of Shirts! LTUE buyers email me ASAP!
Posted February 18th, 2008 by Howard TaylerIf you bought a Rule 1 shirt from me at LTUE, it is possible that the ink was not cured properly, and will wash out the first time you launder it. If you have a problem, please email schlockmercenary at gmail.com, and we’ll either refund your purchase in full, or send you a new shirt at no charge to you.
Everybody else: don’t worry! We’ll be working closely with the printer to ensure that this doesn’t happen with the big batch of pre-orders.

As a quick fix! If it’s reasonably standard ink, get yourself a sheet of waxed paper, and run a low temperature iron on it.
Otherwise, put it in the oven at approximately 250 degrees for about 5 minutes. (you don’t want to burn the fibers)
Also, if it’s _dry_, but not _fixed_, it can sometimes lock into place into the fibers by a run through a hot dryer.

You can also use a hair dryer to heat up just that section and try to bake it in a bit.

Wow! That would suck. I hope the rest are all better now.

It’s a good thing you told everyone about the shirts. If mine fades in the wash, I’ll mail it back to you and ask for a replacement. I still have your address from the wedding invite list. It’s my new favorite shirt, so getting a replacement would make me happier than getting my money back.

Sadly you will be getting my shirt back. I hope it doesn’t take to long for a replacement and I hope your supplier is giving you credit for each defective shirt returned, because they are the ones who deserve to eat this one. Not you.

AmbassadorOna — don’t send it back! Keep it. We’ll print you another, and get it sent out to you. Just email the schlockmercenary at gmail.com address, and we’ll ship you a new shirt free of charge.

OKay; I’ll wear the faded out one until you can ship the replacement.
