Still alive, prepping for Comic-Con

Posted July 14th, 2008 by Howard Tayler

Sorry for the dearth of posts. I’ve got loads to do in order to get ready for Comic-Con next week, and blogging hasn’t risen to the top of that list.

I got digital proofs back for Schlock Mercenary: The Teraport Wars and they look great. I won’t have that book with me at Comic-Con, but if you’re at the show, you can try to be the first to pre-order it.

Details will follow in another post…

“You can try to be the first to pre-order it.” Now, that’s what I call chutzpah.

I’ll be at Comic-con on thur and sat. Are you getting a table? Are you going to be on any panels?

I’ll be in booth 1330 with Blank Label Comics. Look for the color orange. The booth will be covered in it.

And are any of your fellow Blank Labelers gonna be present? (I ask only for information. I am coming to San Diego solely to see you, my good man.)

(Good grief–that sounds as though you have a stalker.)

Someone please take a picture of Howard in orange? Somehow I don’t think it’s his color, but I’m willing to be convinced. Now, will that be the orange tights with the neon green “S” logo on his chest, or just an orange zoot suit recalling days of yesteryear? Who knows what evil lurks in the heart of booth 1330? Blank Label Comics, that’s who!
