One more day for sketch editions!
Posted September 4th, 2008 by Howard TaylerJust a reminder: Sketch Edition pre-orders close Friday at 8:00am Mountain (10:00am Eastern, GMT 3:00pm.) It looks like we’ll hit the 1,000 mark pretty close to then, but even if we haven’t you won’t have much time afterwards.

UPDATE: with just 24 hours (and ten minutes) to go we show 804 sketch editions sold and spoken for. Remember — anything we sell beyond 1000 before Friday at 8:00am (my time) is fine. I’ll up the count. But after Friday at 8:00am the count is fixed…

My lovely wife has vetoed a pre-order due to cashflow issues. I’ll just have to catch up with you at a con and have you draw Hob in there, after I buy it.

And another entry about waffle irons: Go to Amazon and run a search for them. The original one I posted may not be the best one based on your waffle production.
And don’t forget Grade B Maple syrup to cover them with after buttering. From Vermont. Not Canada. Unless you like inferior products, then get Mrs. Butterworths. And I promise this is my last posting on waffle irons and waffle related products. O and my wife loves the strip.

Spending lot of cash today, also got brand new high quality computer parts to assemble into a fully functioning rig tonight with my father so its a great day for me XD
Cash en-route to Howards bank account as we speak, I’m pretty sure both purchases will be money well spent :p

Gaah, I must be blind, because I ordered the wrong edition!
Any way to change order #6565 to the sketch edition? I don’t get to cons very often (like, ever), and unless you’re going to be doing another meeting at the Strohl residence, I’ll be out of luck. :-(

The store shows 848 sketch editions bought and paid for. The count from Comic-Con and World Con is around 100, and then we set aside 50 for comps to those who helped with the books, special friends, replacements, and (greedgreedgreed) auctions.
With TOH we erred low on the “set-aside” count, and quite literally ran out of sketch editions at the very moment we ran out of numbers. It made providing replacements difficult, because we had to find out the number of the damaged book, and re-issue it. HEADACHE.
