Short And To The Point

A friend told me that my previous post was very verbose, and the relevant links were hard to find. So!

Here is a 2100-word sample of a horror story I wrote

It is in a $5.99 anthology called Space Eldritch. It's only available as an eBook at this time, but a limited print run may be in the works. Here are some relevant links:

If you're outside the USA, I believe Smashwords is your best option. It's DRM-free, and the file can be sent to your Kindle, your Nook, your iPad, or pretty much any other device rather easily. The publisher tells me that ALL the versions (Kindle, Nook, Smashwords) are DRM-free, but I haven't been able to confirm that myself because I've been busy drawing calendar pictures.

Oh, hey!

While I've got you here, the Schlock Mercenary 2013 Calendar, featuring Maxims 13 through 24 from "The Seventy Maxims of Maximally Effective Mercenaries," will be available for pre-order a week from now. We schedule the print run based on the pre-orders, so if you want one, be sure to let us know next Monday (or maybe Tuesday) when pre-orders open. This year the calendar art is 100% hand-colored by me, which means I also have some sweet originals to bring to art shows.

Finally, while it's not representative of how the pictures will look on the calendar, here's an antiqued version of the Maxim 21 image. Because, you know, it's FUN.
