Ennesby: I've selected a land-mass about the size of Europe. It's in what looks like a temperate zone. We'll land on the coast, and I'll bury the ship under the sand. That should obscure us from any scan short of ground-penetrating short-range stuff.
Jevee Ceeta: Is there any way to prevent that from happening?
Ennesby: Sure. You'll be wandering around on the beach playing at Lewis and Clark...
Ennesby: When your comm suddenly goes dead, I'll know there are hostiles about, and I'll just pop up and shoot them before they can scan for me.
Jevee Ceeta: Ah. The old "I'll use my commanding officer as bait" plan. I hate it already.
