We're almost done with the final layout for the first dead-tree edition of Schlock Mercenary. It looks beautiful on screen and in the few test-pages we've printed. I need to finish up a few footnotes, and we need to make a couple more passes of proofing through the body of the book, and it'll be off to the printers. Our goal is to have the press-match copies in hand for our review by the 22nd of this month, with actual books hitting the streets right around May 1st. Pre-ordering will begin in just a couple of weeks. Watch this space...
