No Time For Reviews: Fright Night and Rise of the Planet of the Apes

I've got too much script-writing and comic-drawing to give these two films proper reviews with pictures and stuff. I liked "Apes" more than Fright Night, but then again I'm not a fan of horror as a genre. Still, David Tennant and Colin Farrell were fantastic. The only serious failing of the film is that the two of them never got the opportunity to really act opposite each other. Their best scenes were opposite our hero, whose work was merely ordinary.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes was far, far better than I expected it to be, and made a very believable case for the apes taking over quickly in spite of us having huge superiority in numbers, technology, and infrastructure.

These films come in at 10 (Apes) and 14 (Fright Night). My responsibility to you has been discharged. Well... the one about the movies. The one about the writing and the drawing of the comics? Gotta get to work.
