On the Road Again...
entry,

I'm headed off to Comic-Con International. By the time most of you read this I'll be at least half-way there, tooling down I-15 in my 1993 Saturn SL2. She's been a good car, and with the maintenance I put into her this month (including a full oil flush) she ought to cross the wasteland of southern Utah, Nevada, and south-east California with little difficulty.

I'm looking forward to the 'Con. This year I've loosened my schedule WAAAY up so I have more free time to look around. I'll be spending much less time at the Keenspot Booth, so if you want to catch me you'll have to be quick. I'll be in booth 2203 on Thursday from 3pm to 6pm, and I'll be moderating the Keenspot panel on Saturday from 4:30pm to 6pm. The rest of the time I'll be wandering about, swapping sketches, and buying pop-culture crap. I may end up leading a small parade of fellow web-cartoonists up to the Sails Pavilion to prevent crowding at the Keenspot booth, but whether or not anyone actually FOLLOWS me remains to be seen.

I'm bringing my digital camera this year, so with luck I'll be able to post some fun conference updates. Then again, I'm horrible with cameras. I take reasonably well-composed pictures, but mostly I forget I HAVE the camera and take no pictures at all. *sigh*.

And now, I need to pack. I've got a long drive ahead of me. Miles to go until I sleep, even.
