New Fan-Art, Victory Over Alexaentry,
I've posted a couple more bits of Fan Art, so you'll want to follow the link and go see. The first aired last week, and a couple of cool renderings will be showing up Tuesday and Thursday this week.
I'll try to be good, and remind you fine folks when new fan art is available, but time is tight lately. The buffer just dropped below 20 (actually, it climbed dramatically from 12 to 20 over the weekend, but that was Saturday) so I need to get my game on before taking off for a week in Orlando and Vegas.
Remember when I exhorted you (or at least a few of you) to run the Alexa toolbar? Well, it took two weeks, but we broke into the top 100,000 sites. Good work, Schlockers! As of this writing schlockmercenary.com is the 47,863rd most popular site on the internet, falling behind Google, Yahoo, CNN, MSN, and 47,859 porn sites*.
*note: statistical analysis of the 47,862 sites ahead of schlock mercenary is not yet complete. We keep closing our eyes and not peeking through our fingers. It's possible that there are several non-porn sites more popular than Schlock Mercenary.
Speaking of Orlando and Vegas, watch this spot for news of upcoming Schlockmeister (that's me) appearances in Sci-fi City in Orlando (Oct 28th) and the Vegas Comic-Con (Oct 31-Nov 2). I do free sketches, unless they're on body parts, in which case you'll have to negotiate with me over how much I'm supposed to pay you. I'm tight on cash these days.
Oh, that reminds me... I'm still loving my New Beetle. The dealer just installed the promised window-tinting Friday, and I drove it to Pocatello and back this weekend. I had a great time. Six hours of road, with just me, my car, my stylin' black windows, and my MP3 player velcro'ed to the dashboard. Ahhh...
