The 2012 Calendar
For years you fine folks have been asking me to do a calendar. We're doing one for 2012.
It's going to be an 8.5"x11", saddle-stitched, monthly calendar with twelve new illustrations, one per month. When the calendar hangs open on your wall it'll be 11" wide and 17" high.
The theme? Mercenary Maxims, of course. Here is the uncolored line art for next November.
Obviously this will be captioned "Maxim 11: Everything is air-droppable at least once." The box in this illustration may also include some additional decoration, like a Strohl Munitions logo and a "fragile" icon. Travis has the first third of the calendar images and is getting them colored as I write this.
We plan to open pre-orders for this item late next week. At that time we will also open pre-orders for the 2nd edition of Schlock Mercenary: The Blackness Between (including some sketch editions, yes), and we'll be putting the new "Corrosive Agents" spooner mugs in the store as well.
Incidentally, we're also announcing something extra-special on Monday. It's not pre-orderable, but it is merchandise-related, and heavily Schlock-themed. Feel free to speculate. I'm sure the right answer is out there among the Schlockfen already.
