I think we're all in shock with the news today. Some of us are praying, some of us are crying, and many of us are angry. My prayers right now go out to those who are grieving, and to those who don't know yet whether they should grieve.

I think we all should grieve. Lost today are thousands of our brothers and sisters, men and women from all walks of life who were guilty of nothing more than being in the wrong places at the wrong times. Lost also is a sense of peace, a feeling that even though all is not right with the world, it's better than it could be.

Certainly you could argue that it's still better than it could be, but people who are hurting don't want to be told how things could be worse. I wish I could do something to help... unfortunately a comic strip about cheerfully violent space mercenaries cannot be expected to be found funny right now. Even so, you'll still have my strip uninterrupted. You also have my prayers. If there's more I can offer, please let me know.
