To that end, we're trying something I've never tried before. We're using Kickstarter to fund the project. You can get all the details here on the Kickstarter site, but in a nutshell it works like this:
- You pledge money using your credit card.
- A hold is placed for that amount on your card, but your card is not actually charged.
- If our goal is reached, your card (and every other pledged card) is charged for the pledged amount. Kickstarter gives us the money, and we start the manufacturing process.
- If our goal is not reached, all holds are released and nobody is charged anything.

I've played the basic version of the game, and I loved it. Now I want to illustrate and manufacture the full version and play THAT. And I think you'll want to play it, too.
