Book 9: The Body Politic
Part IV: We Kept the Party Hats

Elf:The Soldier-Boosting can't really be that valuable.
Kevyn:Are you kidding? Look, not to blow my own horn, but with those boosts I was able to gut an entire enemy base, including armored soldiers and heavy Cav. I was punching through hullmetal with my hands.
Elf:And decent gravetics would have jellied you faster than you can say "Tag, Xinchub's it."
Kevyn:I. . . I thought I was your hero. . .
Elf:You are. But I prefer my heroes smart, and just a little squishy.
Massey:Objection, Your Honor. Too much information.
