Narrator: And now, Kevyn puts his wicked plan in motion...
Kevyn: Let's assume that the border is destructive, and that the galactic core and gravitic fabric underpinning our home has been damaged. The "accident or malice" question becomes a very important one.
Gavclones: Yes, but it's not relevant to us, since we don't have sufficient data to determine how such a thing could be done.
Kevyn: Well suppose for just a moment that this is a malicious act. In a worst-case scenario, someone is trying to destroy the galaxy.
Wormgate Scientist: Ludicrous. Who'd want to do that?
Kevyn: Bear with me. Now let's suppose that there is a method to reverse the destructive process. Who better than this group to discover it?
Gavclones: Well, nobody, probably.
Kevyn: In which case the responsible parties, who have invested enormously in their project to destroy our galaxy, would think nothing of spending a little extra to put a stop to this conference, and to hunt down and kill each and every one of us.
Gavclones: You're a real ray of sunshine, you know that?
Kevyn: I'm paid to be paranoid these days.
Kevyn: Oh, while we're on the subject of getting paid to be paranoid, there are two squads of trained soldiers, mercenaries, and security experts at the back of this room. They're all available for hire.
Thurl: No personal cheques.
