Painting Party at Dragon's Keep this Friday
All-nighters are hard on my aging frame, but I'm going to participate in one this coming Friday, January 20th, at Dragon's Keep. If you like painting miniatures enough to stay up late, and then stay up early, just so you can share tips and tricks with other painters, this is the sort of thing you'll really enjoy.
I think I've picked the model I'm going to be working on, but I haven't purchased it yet.
There will also be an "Iron Painter" competition running at the same time. I believe those rules indicate you must show up with a completely un-painted model, (primed all-white, all-grey, or all-black is okay) and then leave it at Dragon's Keep for a week so people can admire it in the cabinet and cast their ballots. I could be wrong, though.
I doubt I'll compete. I don't want pressure. I just want to paint.
