Book 8: The Sharp End of the Stick — Part I: Jeopardy

Kevyn: It's a classic problem, really. Kehlmer's Government has claimed more "territory" than they're able to police.
Kevyn: Their Teraport Denial Zone stretches a whopping twenty-eight light-hours from their primary, "Kehlsvek."
Kevyn: For most freight traffic, that's a ten-day run. Kehlmer has escorts and patrols available, but they're stretched too thin to do any good.
Kevyn: We can solve the problem permanently by helping them set up a DMZ a day or so from the ports.
Schlock: What about the part where we kill pirates?
Captain Tagon: He moves so quietly.
