Colonel DeHaans: Our subjects are all prepped, and the interfaces are in place. Do you have the scripts for their new memories?
Admiral Emm: Here's a summary. 'Kweng will give you the raw data.
Colonel DeHaans: Hmmm. . . What happened to the "we were tortured until we wanted to forget" theme you suggested? I like that one.
Admiral Emm: 'Kweng poked too many holes in it. He assures me that this is much more consistent.
Colonel DeHaans: But. . . This one is almost pleasant.
Admiral Emm: Yes, it would seem that ignorance really is bliss.
