Book 19: A Function of Firepower — Part II

Transcript

NARRATOR: The mercenary warship Breath Weapon, very recently re-refurbished and very unexpectedly re-crewed...

MURTAUGH: Attention! This is Captain Murtaugh.

MURTAUGH: We seem to be back aboard the Breath Weapon, but we were 'ported here with no warning.

MURTAUGH: We do not appear to be in combat, but don't take anything for granted.

MURTAUGH: We do not know how many of us are here. Platoons, form up and find out.

MURTAUGH: External sensors suggest we're in the Mnei-Oa system, but in the spirit of taking nothing for granted, I'm leaving that at “suggest.”

MURTAUGH: We're mustering in the forward mess. You have ten minutes.

MURTAUGH: Murtaugh out.

LIZ: C'mon, Nick! We gotta run!

NICK: It's a three-minute walk.

LIZ: The whole crew will be in the forward mess.

NICK: Oh... you think they're gonna want cookies?

LIZ: So many cookies.
