Book 4: The Blackness Between — Part V: Backstabbing on the Fast Track

Transcript

Narrator: A call is placed from the Serial Peacemaker, and plans are set in motion.
Tagon: Breya, Kevyn has a plan to destroy these dark matter entities, and I think it'll work.
Tagon: It's going to put the station and what's left of the Athens in jeopardy, though.

See, we've decoded their transmissions, and our gravitic sensors can now target them successfully. We'll use the station's gravy radio to lure them in, and then use the Athens, the Sarasota, and all our terapedoes to rip them up with gravitics.

Kevyn: But. . . we haven't decoded their transmissions.
Jevee Ceeta: Shut your pie-hole, Commander. We're just trying to trick them into boarding our ship.
Breya: I'm not comfortable with this, Tagon. My entire crew, my Marines. . . We'll have no safe place to sit out the fight.
Breya: Unless you could let us ride it out aboard your ship.
Tagon: No can do, Breya. I was thinking you'd be safer aboard the Serial Peacemaker.
Tagon: Oh. Wait. That is my ship. I mean, I thought you said something else. Yeah.
TRBoE:
Jaksmouth: Nice job, Admiral. We've got them right where we want them.
Jevee Ceeta: We've got them right where we want them, Tagon. Good job.
