Petey: Actually, that's more of the context, or perhaps the subtext.
Petey: The context-vs.-subtext ambiguity lies in whether my displacement of your vessel is serving merely as a backdrop for the messages I've sent through diplomatic channels, or your unwilling transportation is taken, in the meta-political sense, as an unspoken, yet clearly related gesture.
Admiral: It also depends on which school of literary criticism you're adhering to. Me, I tend to lean towards strict deconstructionism in these matters.
