Book 15: Delegates and Delegation — Part III: Conflagration

SORLIE: Wait, if you can only fire the NUSPI once between refuelings...

MURTAUGH: We only get one shot.  Hence the importance of precision targeting.

SORLIE: Forget precision.  You only get one shot, and you need to destroy an entire army.

MURTAUGH: The NUSPI burns all our fuel at once because that one shot is very energetic.

Hopefully, that one shot will reduce the enemy division enough to give the annie-plant's garrison numerical superiority.

SORLIE: Is it safe to have Sergeant Schlock aboard the same ship as that weapon?

KATHRYN: Not once he hears about what it does, no.
