Book 18: Mandatory Failure — Part II

PUTZHO: Chinook rewrote herself!

Why would she do that?

PETEY: Kevyn, Thurl, Para, and Ennesby...

PETEY: Her creator, her nemesis, her mentor, and her savior... all dead, all at once.

She's probably deleting the parts of her that hurt the most.

PUTZHO: Because that's a great coping mechanism. She's unstable! Why did you people give her a fleet of spaceships with Long Guns?

PETEY: Hey, we gave her a garden.

Nobody knew she'd find a flower bed full of apocalypse blossoms.
