Book 13: Random Access Memorabilia — Part II: Write

NARRATOR: Sergeant Schlock has poured himself into an emergency exosuit and jumped into a 6200-meter-deep excavation.

SCHLOCK: No problem.  My stuff might break, but I'll be fine.

NARRATOR: Local acceleration is nine-point-one-one-four meters per second.

This suit has no flight system.

NARRATOR: Thirty-six-point-nine seconds after jumping, the Sergeant will hit Station Imo's roof at twelve hundred & ten kilometers per hour.

This exosuit does have a nice calculator in it.

NARRATOR: Said calculator has helpfully volunteered this information.

SCHLOCK: I'm going to put such a hole in the world.
