Book 14: Broken Wind — Part III: Exhalation and Exit Strategies

Transcript

NARRATOR: Meanwhile...

LEGS: Cam Three says the swarm is chittering and flashing reflected light at the missiles.  The missiles are station-keeping.

SCHLOCK: That's not right.  The missiles were supposed to chase the bugs and blow up.

MURTAUGH: We made friends with that swarm, Sergeant.

SCHLOCK: How do we know they're our friends?  All we've done is wave and stuff.  We can't really talk.

What if they're up there selling us out?

MURTAUGH: It's a good thing we can't "talk" yet.

I'm sure they'd sell us out once you explained that you wanted them for decoys and chaff.

EBBY: Oh, I don't know.  They might be a lot nicer than we are.

MURTAUGH: Or at least nicer than Schlock is.
