I wonder why the Neoafans chose to defuse the matter for us.  With the right push they could have destroyed us.

CHESTER: True, but they have nothing to gain from that.

Also, it's possible that they're a more noble, charitable bunch than we are.

BALA-AMIN: I suppose kindness could be a biological imperative for hydrogen balloons.
