Book 16: Big, Dumb Objects — Part IV

Transcript

TANDERSIL: 'Scuse me, Chief Justice? Am I allowed to change my mind?

MASSEY: Always. What's the real question?

TANDERSIL: After listening to that sad little amorph, I don't think I want to press charges. He's hurting. He needs help.

MASSEY: I'm sorry. At this point the matter is out of all four of your hands.

Assaulting a law enforcement officer is a crime against the State, not against you as an individual.

TANDERSIL: I don't think you want me to feel the way I feel when you say that.

MASSEY: I don't think you want to know how little the Law cares how you feel about it.
