Book 1: The Tub of Happiness — Battle for the Wormgate

Tagon: The gatekeeper we've got on board tells me that his people will pay highly for live prisoners, Petey.
Petey: I'm sorry, sir. I tractored in the derelict blockade ships, and dumped their mass into the fabber.

Petey: That metaphor works.
Tagon: To fuel an onboard factory?
Petey: The fabber, yes.
Tagon: But weren't there still surviving crew members on board those ships?
Petey: You'd be surprised to see how many of today's popular blueprints require fresh organics.
