Book 1: The Tub of Happiness — Bounty Hunting

Transcript

Narrator: Still surfing the hypernet auctions for a starship...
Thurl: This one's interesting, captain. It just went on the market an hour ago. "Decommissioned tausennigan thunderhead superfortress, original fittings: 3,000 Kilocreds or best offer."
Tagon: Thurl, the weaponry alone on that ship is worth a thousand times that much. Put money on it now.
Thurl: Assuming it's not just a pile of scrap, i'd guess the ship is stolen, and the seller is trying to unload it in a hurry. Somebody will eventually come looking for her.
Tagon: I'm willing to take that chance. Repo-men and collection agents don't have terawatt masers, or twin-octuple banks of railguns.
