Book 6: Resident Mad Scientist — Part III: Life's a Beach

Transcript

THEO: Shep, what is it?

NARRATOR: The newly commissioned lieutenant has a choice.

SHEP: Two nons wi' guns, human between 'em in a chair.  I've got the chair

NARRATOR: His grunts are about to engage in a little B&E, likely followed by a bunch of A&B.

NARRATOR: He can't see what Shep can, and cannot therefore make an independently informed decision.  He can only trust or distrust.

SHEP: Rev?

THEO: You lead, Shep.  I'll go left.

SHEP: Helmet, Sir.

NARRATOR: "Leadership through following the right grunt"...  It's one more hallmark of a lieutenant who won't get shot by his own men.
